Throughout the semester in WRIT 5320, the growth in knowledge that I have gained from our weekly meetings has altered, not only, the way I view technology, but also the entirety of the digital era. Building from the first week of class and learning what post humanism is to currently building a class archive has promoted my thoughts on what technology and writing have in common and how we use them both daily. Before taking this course, I had worked in film in order to create videos, but working extensively to create a Speculative Fiction trailer was the first time I felt as if my work was bigger than it actually was due to the amount of effort we put into the assignments. The projects that were assigned to us throughout the course caused us, as students, to think in ways that we may not have thought before attending the course. As a first semester graduate student, this course has opened my thought process and led me to create connections with technology that seemed almost nerve racking before attending this class. Thanks to Dr. Bianchi and my peers, we have all grown in our respective ways and I plan on continuing this trend of knowledge.
