ADVANCED WRITING WITH TECHNOLOGIES
DIGITAL SHOWCASE
ABOUT
This is a collaborative digital archive assembled by graduate students in NSU's M.A. in Composition, Rhetoric, and Digital Media (CRDM) program who are enrolled in WRIT 5320: Advanced Writing with Technologies at Nova Southeastern University (NSU). Throughout the course, we learned how to work with various technologies to create a number of multimodal works. Some of these programs include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, iMovie, and Twine. Additionally, we learned different ways to write with various technologies through class assigned readings. These readings taught us about concepts and technologies, such as posthumanism, interactive fiction, speculative fiction, electronic literature, digital preservation, augmented reality, and more. For our final project, we worked together as a class to create a digital showcase. This showcase educates visitors on the design processes we used for each project. Visitors can view our reflections highlighting our main objectives and how the skills we learned might help us in our careers. The showcase demonstrates to current, past, and prospective students; NSU faculty; and administration, what students might accomplish in WRIT 5320: Advanced Writing with Technologies.
